During the feast that was the Bacon/Cheese/Chocolate potluck I finished up TWO scarves. Yes two finished projects in one night. Be super amazed.
Let me first tell you about the awesomeness that was the potluck. The rules were as following: all foods made had to contain cheese, chocolate, or bacon. They could contain multiple combinations but not required. For the main course we had bacony/cheese French toast, bacon pineapple pizza, bacon mac and cheese, bacon turkey tetrazini, bean feta salad, bacony brussel sprouts, and bacon wrapped filet. Beverages included Brownie Martinis and Bacon tea. Deserts included bacon caramels, bacon apple pie with cheddar cheese, white chocolate covered bacon, dark chocolate bacon brownies, turtles. I can’t think of anything else, but I am sure I forgot someone’s dish. It all was super delicious. Thanks to Kristin for hosting the awesomeness, who decided to make it an annual event. I love my friends. I did bring my camera to the event, but I got distracted by bacon fumes and left it in my purse for most of the night. To see pictures you can post stalk Jacie because I know she took tons of pictures.
I finished the Debbie Bliss Super Chunky Moss stitch scarf and Jaidyn’s Scarf in coughcough acrylic coughcough. Mind you the latter was for 3 year old and I was given instructions that it must be made out of something indestructible. Boo…that’s no fun. Oh and thanks to Aaron who weaved the ends in of the too scarves. He didn’t know there would be knitting…. right. There is always knitting.
On to the projects…
I tried to buy a new adapter to upload the pictures. I even got one of the ones with 6 different hook up things… and you know what.. NONE of them fit in the stupid camera. It just goes along with the theme of my day “Frustrating” – It was one of those days. So actual finished project pictures will have to wait. Instead I will leave you will WIP projects.
